What is ENDOLIFT®?

ENDOLIFT® is a minimally invasive laser treatment in which the subcutaneous connective tissue is heated in a targeted way. This non-surgical treatment stimulates the renewal of both the deep and the superficial skin layers, tightens the skin, promotes the retraction of connective-tissue septa, stimulates collagen production and reduces excess fat.

The result is visible immediately and is long-lasting. It continues to improve in the months after the procedure as additional collagen builds up in the deep layers of the skin.

The treatment is performed with the innovative LASEmaR® 1500 laser, which holds FDA approval and certification for laser-assisted fat reduction. We are the practice that has performed the most ENDOLIFT® treatments in Germany.

Method

ENDOLIFT® uses sterile, Eufoton®-specific micro-optical FTF fibres in different diameters, depending on the treatment area. Within the subcutaneous tissue, the FTF micro light-guide fibres act as an intradermal light path and transmit the laser energy: controlled laser energy is emitted through the fibre – for example when treating the lower eyelid and cheek.

The 1470 nm wavelength of the LASEmaR® 1500 acts ideally on water and fat. This activates neocollagenesis and the metabolic functions of the extracellular matrix, resulting in tightening of the skin and connective tissue.

Effect on two layers

Indications

ENDOLIFT® can contour the entire face: the treatment addresses mild skin laxity and fat pads in the lower third of the face (double chin, cheeks, mouth and jawline) and on the neck; ENDOLIFT® also improves sagging skin on the lower eyelids.

Before treatment

• ◆After consulting your doctor, stop taking medication containing acetylsalicylic acid (e.g. Aspirin, ASA) 2 days before the planned procedure.

After treatment

• ◆Avoid physical activity and rest on the day of the procedure.
• ◆Cool the treated area and care for it with a moisturising cream.
• ◆Avoid saunas, sunbeds and sport for 10 days.

Complications

• ◆Bruising and tenderness may persist for several days after the treatment.
• ◆Altered sensation in the treated area for a few weeks.
• ◆As with all invasive methods, injury to blood vessels and nerves is possible but very unlikely.

LightSCAN™ – non-ablative fractional resurfacing

LightSCAN™ is a fractional scanner with variable patterns that allows large areas of skin to be treated quickly. It creates uniform, non-ablative, fractional photothermal damage and allows parameters such as dimensions, time and percentage of fractionation to be tailored to each patient’s needs.

This treatment combines perfectly with the ENDOLIFT® and EndoliftX® protocols and enhances their results.
